Sunday night as usual

This week has been so busy work , work, and more work. Still the Lord gives us the strength when we surrender all to Him. Saturday I went out for lunch with a friend and went shopping. Sunday went out for lunch with some friends then went to the Hanningfields. Apart form the water fowls we saw some huge I mean huge trouts 6 in all that some fishermen had caught and they were taking some photos.
After Mike's sermon tonight about 'faith' I pray that we all catch a glimpse of the future. This morning's bible verse phil 3:8 is good too.

Catch Up

This last weekend I had a friend come for tea on friday then a couple friends of mine came to stay from friday 2000 hrs to sunday 1800hrs. I took them and 2 other friends in my little Nissan to Benny Hinn on saturday. A friend of mine got us VIP seats so we had a good view no doubt. The Lord touched us in a miraculous way. I felt the Lord had healed me from past hurts and bad memories. Sunday we went to friends for lunch, good old lamb and potato curry, squash, aubergine and homegrown gourgettes cooked with herbs and tomato and salads. Am I making you hungry. Sunday evening service I enjoyed the worship and communion. A Thought:God doesn't waste anything in our lives, confident in our god given role. Whatever we have received and experienced has shaped who we are. There is truly noone else like you for a reason. I have had such a hard day at work. I'm so tired I must be getting old.

Busy weekend

I had a busy weekend looking after a friend who came to stay with me since friday. She had a minor operation yesterday monday. I took her home this afternoon after taking her food shopping. The weather is hot, needs a cool mauritian see breeze. How I covet that after sitting in a traffic jam leading to the army and navy roundabout for only a few minutes which looked like an eternity yesterday. I have cleaned the house this afternoon as we are having lifegroup here tonight. I did go to the Ingatestone horticultural show on saturday which my friend enjoyed. The highlight for me was watching sheepdogs rounding geese, ducks, a chicken apaprently to shoe his gentleness and actually we did watch 3 sheep being led to their pen. In my computer course I learnt amongst other things how to clean the mouse. Would you like to know. I'll tell you anyway. You have to unscrew the round bit at the bottom remove the ball clean the inside put the ball back obviously and screw it up again.Easy when you know how as they say. Who is they anyway!!!

Blessings

I had a lovely day at Mulberry Open Day. It started with a service of thanksgiving. Then we had free coffee and bithday cake for 2 years of 'living light' with classical music and live singing in a beautiful marquee. We had 3 bible studies on the cross lasting 45 minutes with half an hout interval where we could have a barbecue or our own picnic. My friends and I took a picnic. We also listened to a soloist harpist. He was brilliant. Mulberry House do have ladies days and quiet days. Sunday I was blessed in the second service about 'the reversal of destiny'. I was treated out for lunch with friends. Then spent all afternoon praying and praising the Lord till the evening service. I was able to pray for sombody which really blessed me. Today I went to Ingatestone nurseries with a friend. It was good to look round there, came away with plants, a cape daisy and a parsley plant.
A PRAYER: Despite the death toll rising, may our confidence remain in the lord. Amen

Blessings

This last week has gone so quickly for me. In lifegroup we had a refresher about the gifts of the spirit. Today I forgot completely about going to a healing room meeting. I missed a speaker from London. My sister text me today to say she like the photo of their cat I sent her. No comments about the family photos. I texted her today about the rising death toll form the bombings, She sent a text to say that she knew because she had watched the BBC news. Can you imagine. News travels too fast for my liking. Despite the bombing I had a lovely day at the Hampton Court flower show which my friend treated me to. Four of us went but it took us 4 hours to get back because of tailbacks on the M25 which we kept weaving in and out. Saw lots of kent country side. I shall tell you all about Mulberry House open day next time we meet.

Update

Lifegroup was good this week, we discussed about 'growing pains'. Healing rooms has been very busy so far without any advertising but this week it has been advertised on the health and beauty section. We'll have to see what response we get on wednesday. Had my holiday photos this week, sorted them and posted them to different people at home. Had a fervent prayer meeting on friday and a spiritual warfare one on saturday. Today I was at the first service, had lunch out with friends, went to Hanninfields to look at the ducks. Watch some tennis and videoed songs of praise then it was back to church. We had a good discussion on our table. It's amazing what one can achieve when God is in it. We all reflect something of God's image whether we believe in Him or not. Family is the basic way we were created.
