Weekend news

I have enjoyed the weather this weekend. On sunday we had a lifegroup lunch after the second service. It was lovely. I was busy setting the table in the garden and clearing up afterwards but it all went very well. It was good to get together.then 5pm we decided to go to Southend by the sea (5) of us. We went to the cliff pavillion for a cup of tea and admired the sea and looking at all the people. some wer swimming and lots of boats and the tide was in. Today we had lunch at the running mare and went to hyde hall (4) of us. It was fun watching people with all sots of sun hats. It was like being in ascot. The gardens were lovely. The roses were at their best. They had some like swags with comomile underneath which was very pretty. We all came back to mine for tea and cake. When I dropped everybody home. I decided to cut the shrubs in the front and mow the lawn back and front. It was dark when I finished. A lovely weekend, needless to say back to work tomorrow.

Busy week work work work and more work!!! Had a nice weekend in Farnborough with a friend. Her husband had just gone to America to study so needed cheering up. Also she is learning to drive, so took her out for some practice, very brave of me with a lot of prayer. We went to Bird world but decided not to go in as mainly for children, but had a nice ride in the countryside, sort of as watching my friend constantly and prompting her.We also went to Frensham Great pond. I t was sunny and warm by the lake with sailing boats and children building sand castles on the sands, very picturesque. Another challenging message form Mike yesterday.

I had a busy week working hard followed by a nice weekend. Saturday I had 3 friends come from Kent. I had not seen them for 6 years. I took them out for a light lunch then we went to my favourite place the Hanningfields. We saw some aylesbury ducks which they liked then we went to writtle to see the sunflower fields and took some photos befroe spots of rain came. After catching up with news we had a lovely meal before they returned home. I was able to talk about the lord at times. Today I went out for lunch with friends then we went to see a 100th anniversary flower show in St Peter's church South Hanningfields with the reservoir at the back of it.This evening I was blessed by Mike's preaching about how to make wise decisions. James 1:2-8, Prov 24:8, Prov 20:25. Expect the best but prepare for the worse. Prov 22:3 Ps 91:14-16 about Godly decisions. Calculate the cost. Make Christ your partner. Face your fears.Romans 8:34. Make a decision to commit to the habits that will help you grow spiritually. Obedient faith. have a go about obeying God. My challenge is what do we do with a message like this. Prayer: Lord help us to make the right decisions in serving you.

What a busy and fruitful week. I work hard for 3 days then thursday and friday I went to faith camp peterborough with friends. I was really blessed and fired up for boldness to tell people about Jesus. One word that really spoke to me was that we needed to ask God for supply before we put demands on us eg peace faith joy before we can go about our daily lives. Sunday we were 5 for lunch at my place then we went to see the fushcia display/show at St john Payne school. Well the summer is back. My water but is empty I have to use tap water to water my plants and I'm on a meter. I don't think I had to resort to the tap last year.
