Happy New Year

Hi Everyone, I wish you all a very blessed new year 2006. I appreciate you all and thankyou for your love, prayers and encouragement. The verse that comes to mind is 'behold the old has gone and the new has come'. It might be out of context but it seems appopriate to start a new year.

year ending 2005

The saga of my heating. A part had gone in the new motor. Anyway it's back to normal Praise the lord before this cold spell. i took a friend to swindon on saturday. We went very early and it was a smooth journey. I had a friend to stay over the holidays. I took her back on tuesday and back to work on wednesday. Christmas day and boxing day were spent with friends, so no cooking and in good company. Tuesday went to the running mare for lunch. we had salmon for a change. Christmas eve we went to the midnight service in CGC, widford estate and then to Elim in the morning so doubly blessed. My thoughts and prayers have been for pastor Tony. I was looking at the snow and thinking about the birds and the thought came that the lord looks after the birds and the lilies. then a challenging thought came about children dying of hungeras well as adults. The Lord knows and He is able.

Also i had the carpet assessed needless to say i have to have new carpets but not till after christmas. Also I had a new vent put in the kitchen.
Yesterday I went to the harvesters for a christmas dinner with friends. Today i went to Hanningfields for a christmas dinner. My neighbours, 2 couples came to the 4pm carol service, they so enjoyed it and I did too. we are blessed to have such talented people.

Shalom

I have put my decorations up. I like fairy lights. I have x2 in the lounge and x 1 in the dining room. I have a real christmas tree outside in a pot that I have put outdoor flickering lights on. today we went to the harvester's for lunch and went to Ingatestone nursery. I got a christmas silk rose with a shiny silver edging and a cyclamen to go in my window box. Last week my hot water tank had to be replaced due to a leak.
